For about two years my kitchen has been under construction. and it is so hard to live on a construction site! so about last week adam spent the day and textured my walls! and i am so happy. these pic's make the texture look funny, but it looks good in person. so now it is on to the colors. hopefully that will be done alot sooner than two years. but picking colors for me is not easy, i guess i am to indecisive. any suggestions of paint names. my husband likes ones that sound good, he says like Cinnamon toast. i tell him hunny we need to look at the color not the name. i like the ideas of tans. but what other color goes with that? i would like to do some accents of another color. help!

I think field granite is a good lighter tan, and I like cowboy tan for a darker tan, I also like a color called peyote, its kind of a khaki greenish tan sounds wierd but I've seen it a couple of places and I really like it. These are true value colors but I think you could get them other places too.
I love the texture! It takes me a long time to pick colors too. Jackson is TOTALLY the same way about colors...it is all about the name of the color for him. I did a very pale yellow...almost cream...in my kitchen with a deep rusty red as an accent. I think I might change it sometime in the future, though. I currently have a room half painted with a green...it has been that way for months because I can't decide if I like it or not. Good luck!
